While most canned fabadas are made with white kidney beans, our fabada Tierra Astur has been made in Asturias with IGP Asturian butter beans (judion de granja), that have been grown in Asturias and meet the strict quality requirements from de Asturian Beans Council (Consejo Regulador de la Faba Asturiana). Asturian judion de granja are big in size, firm in texture, buttery and delicious. They have been slow cooked to perfection for you and accompanied with the best smoked-meats (chorizo, black pudding, pancetta and lacon). This might be the best fabada that you can find without having to cook it yourself, and without having to travel to Asturias. Just open, warm up, and serve.
