  • PALATE: In mouth it is round, concentrated, has mature and structured tannins. Very good volume with long and persistent finish
  • WINE STYLE: Monovarietal big bodied red with intense fruity flavors with herbal hints.

-Vinification and ageing:

The harvest is done manually in 150 kg pallets. where they pass in a cold room for 48 hours at 8ºC. The grapes are selected at the table, choosing the best ones, later covered up where we carry out the alcoholic fermentation for 10 to 12 days, not exceeding the temperature of 28ºC in contact with their skins. It is aged for 8 months in French and American oak barrels.


Red meat, major hunt, roasts, Iberian sausages, fatty cheeses and various stews.

The winery:

BODEGAS LUZÓN: is one of the main producers and exporters of quality wines of the D.O. Jumilla, and one of its most historic wineries, producing wine since the late nineteenth century. Jumilla, Murcia: The wine-growing area of ​​Jumilla is located southeast of Spain, north of the region of Murcia. The climate is continental, influenced by the Mediterranean Sea with warm days, rains that do not reach 300 litres per square meter, and cold nights. The result is a harsh climate, which causes a thick textured soil and allows to obtain small grape bunches, with a good concentration of sugar, excellent acidity and thicker skins. Varieties of the region: The main variety is Monastrell, a grape so characteristic in our Region. It is a variety of strong character that usually derives in wines with remarkable graduation. Other varieties are Garnacha Tintorera, a grape very planted both in the area of Jumilla and in Alicante; Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot in terms of the red varieties, and Macabeo (or Viura) and Chardonnay in the white ones.
