Spanish custard is slightly thicker and less sweet than the custard we usually find in the UK. Traditionally it´s served on a terracotta dish with a Maria biscuit at the bottom and topped with powder cinnamon, but it can be part of more sophisticated recipes and even can be used to fill churros or for home baking.
