This Bauma cheese is from Empordà region in Catalonia. The milk used for this cheese is produced on the same farm as the milk used for the popular Garrotxa cheese. Bauma is a smooth and light-textured goats’ curd cheese with a fresh, yogurty taste. Extremely versatile and delicious, it can be eaten alone, in salads, pasta dishes, spreads, and sweets.
