Once open, keep it on the fridge and carefully cover with cling film to prevent the meat to dry out. Take it out from the fridge about 30 minutes before serving to maximize the flavour and texture and finish within a month. If you don’t think you can’t finish it in a month, you might want to consider to slice or dice the remaining meat and freeze it. Frozen ham might lose a bit of taste, but it is definitely better than letting the ham to get spoiled on the fridge.
