Ensaimadas are a traditional Mallorcan pastry that now can be found all across Spain. They are a soft twirled bun generously sprinkled with icing sugar. Proper ensaimadas don´t last long before getting too dry, so if you want to enjoy a real ensaimada you need to travel to Mallorca, but those ensaimadas are close enough to make you happy. Enjoy them for breakfast, or in the afternoon with a cup of tea or coffee.
- Contains egg, wheat, milk and soya. May contain traces of nuts, soya, sesame and or products thereof.
Wheat flour, sugar, palm fat, lard, glucose-fructose syrup, egg white (2%), yeast, egg (1%), vegetable oils (sunflower, soya) in varying proportions, salt, emulsifiers: E472e and E471, whey powder (milk), wheat gluten, flavourings and colour: carotenes. May contain traces of nuts, soya, sesame and or products thereof. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
