Traditionally, turron de Jijona, or soft Turron, is made from finely ground almonds combined with honey and sugar. However this formula is not suitable for those who don´t eat sugars. Castillo de Jijona presents its soft “almonds cream” turron with no sugar or honey added, but still as delicious as the original recipe. The result is a firm but slightly crumbly paste-like texture that is bit less demanding on the teeth than the traditional hard Turron.
